From Feb 14th -24th I was in Tn and Il.  I was lucky enough to spend all that time with my family.

It was great to spend time with my nephews...and see how much they've grown.  William looks just like my sister in law. And Daniel looks like my brother. 

While in Tn I spent time with my parents and convinced them to come out for my 30th birthday bash.  I'm celebrating with a few friends in Las Vegas!

For those of you visiting from my other sites, I'll be able to post my pics of me and my nephews on vacation. For those I dont know well enough yet... maybe once we get closer I will share more.]

On vacation my diet went to the way side, as fatback, bacon, and wild hog pork was added to most of everything I ate.  I also discovered this delicious treat called Whisper and well.. when you put it in the freezer it makes one hell of a snack!

My vacation was just what I needed.  Proof Positive that I am ok...and that unfortunately a lot of the people I meet are unstable, and uncomfortable hanging out with an positve, happy, single black lesbian.

I was able to spend some face time with my friends from back home, and it was great. Everyone is doing something great, whether it be coauthoring biology books, publishing a book of photos, or taking over the family business.  It was all positive, and another item to prove that I came from a good and healthy enviornment, and what I've surronded myself with may not be the best, but to take the positive out of every situation.
